A Day of Love and Adventure with Your Dog

Pet Influencer CarrieAnn MonteLeon

What more can a dog parent ask for than to live here in Jupiter, Florida; one of the most dog-friendly towns around! From our beautiful beaches and parks to outdoor dining and adventures on the water, there are so many places where we can enjoy with our dogs, and that warmly welcome, well-behaved dogs.

While a dog doesn’t know that it’s Valentine’s Day, we do, and for the love and fun that he/she gives us all year, we love to show them extra fun and adventure.

We love taking our dogs to Marshalls first, to pick a ball or toy, and after getting a new ball or toy, we are off to the beach. We usually end the day at one of the local dog-friendly restaurants. Here is a great list of some of the hot spots that will warmly welcome your well-behaved dog.

Jupiter Dog Beach

Jupiter boasts one of Florida’s few remaining off-leash dog beaches—a gorgeous 2.5-mile stretch from beach marker #26 (Marcinski Road) north to marker #57 (Carlin Park boundary). Dogs can run, swim, and play freely, but they must be under reliable voice control and non-aggressive. Always bring fresh water, shade, poop bags (provided by Friends of Jupiter Beach), and clean up after your pet to keep this privilege alive!

Jupiter Outdoor Center

For some on-the-water fun, rent dog-friendly kayaks or paddleboards and explore the calm, scenic Loxahatchee River or Intracoastal waterways together. Note: A dog life vest is a must for safety.

Salty Dog Paddle

This nonprofit offers private, pet-friendly paddleboarding lessons and rentals in Jupiter’s clear Intracoastal waters (often near the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse). They provide dog-suitable boards and life jackets in all sizes—perfect for adventurous pups!

Dog-Friendly Restaurants, Wind down with a meal at one of Jupiter’s many welcoming outdoor restaurants:

U-Tiki Beach

Stunning views of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, casual tiki vibe, fresh seafood, and tropical drinks. Dogs are warmly welcomed on the spacious outdoor patio—many reviewers mention water bowls provided for pups.

The Twisted Tuna

Laid-back tiki bar and grill at Blowing Rocks Marina—dogs welcome on outdoor seating.

Little Moir’s Food Shack

Important Note: Pet policies can change seasonally or due to local regulations, so it’s always best to call ahead or check the restaurant’s website before visiting to confirm current rules. Most places require dogs to be leashed, well-behaved, and in outdoor

I hope you and your furry best friend have a wonderful time exploring all that our beautiful town has to offer on Valentine’s Day, this year.
