There’s a new reason to head north on U.S. 1 to Tequesta and it smells like fresh lime, cilantro, and coastal Florida vibes. Guaca Go, the South Florida–born Fresh-Mex favorite known for its made-to-order guacamole and customizable bowls, officially opened its newest location in Tequesta on February 2, marking the brand’s first-ever franchise and a meaningful milestone in its growth story.
Located at 181 U.S. 1 in Tequesta, the restaurant quickly began winning over locals during its soft opening, welcoming guests daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The official grand opening took place just a few weeks ago on Monday, February 2.
For Jupiter and Tequesta residents who value clean eating without sacrificing flavor, Guaca Go feels right at home. The menu is inspired by Florida’s coastal lifestyle — fresh, vibrant, and unfussy. At the heart of every dish is the brand’s signature guacamole, made fresh to order right in front of guests. From chef-driven bowls and upgraded build-your-own options to lighter grab-and-go selections, burritos, and salads that never feel heavy, the menu is designed for modern, active lifestyles. Everything is gluten-free-friendly, vegan-friendly, and seed-oil-free, details that matter more than ever to health-conscious locals.
The Tequesta location is locally owned and operated by Fab Nunez and Jessie Sequeira, entrepreneurs drawn to Guaca Go’s emphasis on quality, hospitality, and genuine community connection. Their belief in the brand runs deep: they have already signed on to open a second Guaca Go franchise in Royal Palm Beach later this summer.
“Guaca Go’s values around quality, hospitality, and community align perfectly with how we approach business,” Nunez and Sequeira shared. “We’re proud to open the brand’s first franchise right here in Tequesta and even more excited to grow alongside the company. This is just the start of a long-term partnership and a lot of great meals ahead.”
Guaca Go celebrated its Tequesta opening by turning launch week into a true neighborhood event. On February 2 and 3, guests enjoyed $5 bowls from noon to 3 p.m., giving the community an easy midday reason to stop in. On February 4, the restaurant hosted a giveback day benefiting My Brother Rocks The Spectrum Foundation, an inclusive play gym serving children of all abilities; $1 from every bowl, burrito, or salad sold that day was donated to the organization. The week wrapped up on February 5 with a Community Appreciation Day, offering 50% off for first responders, nurses, teachers, and students.
Guaca Go’s story is as Florida as it gets. Founded by married entrepreneurs Carson and Amber Bennett, the brand began as a roadside guacamole stand in the Florida Keys — simple, fresh, and built around the belief that guacamole deserved to be the star of the meal. That idea quickly gained a loyal following, leading to brick-and-mortar locations in West Palm Beach and Delray Beach, and now, Tequesta.
“We started with a simple idea — make guacamole fresh and build everything around it,” said Carson Bennett. “Seeing that vision turn into our first franchise location is incredibly rewarding and a testament to the community that has supported us from day one.”
Beyond its restaurants, Guaca Go has become a familiar name at some of South Florida’s biggest events, from the South Florida Fair and Delray Beach Open to spring training at Roger Dean Stadium, the Miami Open, and Formula 1 weekend in Miami. As the brand continues to expand, it remains firmly rooted in its Florida origins, known for fresh food, fast service, and a welcoming, feel-good atmosphere.
For Jupiter and Tequesta locals, Guaca Go’s arrival isn’t just another restaurant opening, it’s a fresh, flavorful addition to the community, served with a generous side of heart.
