As we enter a beautiful New Year, pondering last year’s memories, and the excitement of going into another year, making new plans, setting new goals, for ourselves and possibly our kids, what about our dog? 

This is the perfect time to make a game plan to get rid of lingering behavioral issues, like: 

Too much excitement or jumping at the front door when someone is ringing the bell, or bolting out every time you try to open the door.

How about your dog’s response when you say, Max “Come” or Chloe “Get Inside” 

What about those dreams of taking your dog for a leisurely stroll through the park or neighborhood?

For those individuals who just got a puppy for the holidays, NOW is the time to begin a training regimen so that you establish an unbreakable bond, and form a lifetime of enjoying your companion and partner in crime..  if the only crime being committed involves cleaning up a mess, then training should be on your New Year’s Resolution list, so that you can enjoy your dog.
